What is the planned public offer?

After the payment launch, the 7-day trial will become $8.99/month. We will email you 3 days before the first charge, and you can cancel before then and pay nothing.

Which languages are supported?

Arabic, Turkish, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Dutch, Farsi, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Amharic — plus automatic detection. Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, and Yiddish display right-to-left.

How long can a recording be?

Up to about 90 minutes per recording — record directly in the app or upload an existing file, straight from your phone's share menu.

Privacy, in plain language

We store your account details, service usage and entitlements, and the recordings and transcripts you choose to save so Transcripts works across your devices.

OpenAI processes audio for transcription and speaker separation. Cloudflare R2 stores saved media. Supabase and PostgreSQL store account and recording-index data. Google may provide sign-in when you choose it.

When payments open, Polar handles checkout, subscriptions, tax, and payment operations as merchant of record. Transcripts does not receive or store your full card number.

  • No advertising trackers are installed on the public site or in the app.
  • A transcript is shared only when you create a link; shared links expire and can be revoked.
  • You can delete recordings from your library. Use Support for account deletion or a data question.

Support, privacy, and billing help

For access, transcription, privacy, refund or billing help, use the secure same-origin feedback form and include the account email where we can reply.

Public payment checkout is not open yet. After launch, Polar will process charges and approved refunds. We review each request using its purchase context and applicable law; we do not promise an automatic refund that the service cannot honor.

Never send card, bank, or identity documents through feedback. Polar and its hosted verification providers are the only place for payment or identity details.
